Paw Paw Lake

There's really not much about Paw Paw Lake that is not to enjoy. The size of the lake is good for just about any watersport you're going to want to be doing on an lake inland. On the southwest part of the lake is a nice little area/cove where boats anchor down and swim safely without boats speeding by. There's two places on the lake to get food/drink (The Waterfront and the golf course hut), a marina for gas and a number of rental units on the lake for vacation goers. The only part about Paw Paw Lake that isn't ideal is that there's not really a public beach. If that's not a concern for you, then I highly recommend checking out Paw Paw Lake!

Paw Paw lake is the perfect distance from Chicago just 2 hours and you have arrived at a lake that is perfect for water skiing, wakeboarding ,fishing or just simply cruising the shoreline taking in the sights. Downtown Coloma has much to offer. There are many restaurants, Friendly Tavern,The Bend Bar for some casual atmosphere and Karaoke on a Saturday night. Eddies Drive inn is a hidden Gem that just happens to have some of the best Ribs around. The local gas station Wesco has fresh donuts served daily that will rival any donut shop you have been to. If you happen to have a rainy day you can always catch a movie at The Loma theatre. Everyone I have met is laid back and at ease on this lake.
